Playground is an internationally renowned gaming destination located a short 15-minute drive south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to prepare and present high-quality dishes. You'll be responsible for ensuring that every plate leaving our kitchen meets the highest standards of taste and presentation.

Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to the recipe book and pictures
Set up workstations with all the needed ingredients and cooking equipment
Prepare ingredients for cooking, such as chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meat
Ensure a great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
Keep the kitchen clean and organized, following sanitation, food safety, hygiene, and other health and safety guidelines
Check the quality of ingredients
Train any second cook within the section
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a similar position
Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure
Able to spend 100% of the time standing
Must be fluent in English or French and 18 years or older
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Positive and collaborative team player attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, overnight hours, and holidays
Must have a valid Canadian working visa
