Procurement Specialist Indirect Materials Niagara Falls
PALFINGER
Step into a Procurement Specialist position that focuses on indirect materials and driving strategic sourcing initiatives. Your analytical expertise will be crucial in identifying cost savings and enhancing supplier performance. In this role, you will lead the development of sourcing strategies, analyze supplier spend data, and conduct necessary RFI and RFQ processes.
With at least two years of experience within manufacturing contexts, you will support supplier negotiations and ensure compliance with internal policies. Your collaboration skills will be essential for fruitful partnerships with both internal teams and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities Develop strategic sourcing initiatives for indirect materials
Conduct spend analysis to pinpoint savings
Issue and manage RFIs and RFQs effectively
Assist with supplier negotiations and contract management
Monitor KPI performance of suppliers for improvements
Requirements Bachelor’s or diploma in relevant field
At least 2 years in strategic sourcing
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally SAP
Solid analytical and communication skills
Ability to collaborate widely within and outside the organization
