On-Site Material Manager in Lachine

Become a key leader as the Material Manager at our Lachine plant, overseeing planning and purchasing teams. Collaborate on production strategies, inventory management, and supplier relations on-site.

This role involves leading and developing the planner-buyer team while managing inventory requirements for production. You will prepare production schedules, analyze events' impacts, and maintain communication across departments. Working closely with the Plant Manager, your tasks ensure smooth operations and strategic alignment of raw material procurement.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead the planner-buyer team using continuous development • Prepare and manage the master production schedule • Solve issues collaboratively with stakeholders • Analyze events for impact on production and supply • Adjust production schedules based on master planner forecasts

Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Administration or Operations Management • 10+ years in planning and procurement management • Bilingual skills required (written and spoken) • SAP knowledge is an asset • Strong analytical and leadership abilities
