Global Risk and Controls Director

Lead the risk and audit strategies for Corporate Real Estate at Manulife globally. This hybrid role in Toronto focuses on compliance, risk assessment, and operational excellence. As the Director of Risk and Controls, you will spearhead the complete risk, controls, and audit framework. Key responsibilities include integrating risk management with technology initiatives, overseeing audit planning, and ensuring compliance with OSFI expectations. Your expertise will drive improvements across Corporate Real Estate and its enterprise partners. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead CRE risk framework design and integration
- Oversee audit readiness and compliance initiatives
- Implement risk processes and tools across platforms
- Track risks and document remediation progress
- Report on risk and audit performance metrics
- 7+ years in Operational Risk or Audit leadership
- Professional certification (CIA, CISA, etc.) is a plus
- Strong RCSA and audit management expertise
- University degree in business, finance, or risk management
- Proven experience in regulatory interactions
