ServiceMaster Restore of Guelph is a trusted leader in disaster restoration , providing expert solutions for fire, water, and mold damage recovery. We take pride in helping homeowners and businesses rebuild after disasters and are looking for a Multimedia Marketing Specialist to share our impact through compelling content, social media engagement, and digital storytelling.
Role Overview:
This is a hands-on, creative role perfect for someone passionate about photography, videography, social media, and marketing analytics . You will be responsible for capturing and creating engaging content , managing our social media presence , and supporting our marketing initiatives at events to enhance brand awareness.
Note: This position requires flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, to cover community events, sponsorships, and company initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos showcasing restoration projects, community involvement, and company culture
- Create and schedule engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok)
- Develop and execute a social media strategy to boost engagement and brand visibility
- Attend and document community events, sponsorships, and industry networking events
- Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics (social media insights, website traffic, and campaign effectiveness)
- Collaborate with the leadership team to align content with business goals and customer needs
- Stay updated on industry trends, social media algorithms, and best practices in digital marketing
- Assist in email marketing campaigns and website content updates
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1-3+ years of experience in photography, videography, social media management, or digital marketing
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, etc.) or similar editing software
- Experience with social media analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics)
- Strong storytelling, copywriting, and visual content creation skills
- Understanding of SEO, paid advertising, and digital marketing best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours , including some evenings and weekends for events
- Valid driver's license (as some content capture may require travel to job sites and events)
- Knowledge of the restoration, construction, or home services industry is a plus
