Alvarez & Marsal Restructuring Associate

Alvarez & Marsal

Help drive change as a Restructuring Associate with Alvarez & Marsal in Toronto, where you'll work collaboratively to enhance underperforming businesses. Your role will emphasize hands-on problem-solving in diverse industries. Bringing your 6+ years of experience in corporate restructuring or related finance sectors, you will focus on creating meaningful, long-term solutions for client organizations. This position requires a blend of analytical skills and practical knowledge, particularly in cash flow and business performance oversight. Key Responsibilities:

Manage cash flow forecasts effectively
Analyze feasibility for business reorganizations
Develop comprehensive long-term plans
Implement effective cost-reduction initiatives
Assist in managing bankruptcy case documentation

Requirements:

6+ years in relevant financial experience
Degree or MBA/MS in finance/accounting
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Certifications like CPA or CTP preferred
Understanding of Chapter 11 initiatives
