Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer II – Firmware for its Timing Firmware team. In this role, you'll collaborate with marketing and hardware teams to define and implement firmware solutions. Your expertise in C/C++ programming and embedded software development will be key to delivering high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interface with marketing to gather firmware requirements
• Collaborate on architecture with design teams
• Implement functions and drivers as per specifications
• Write tests and scripts for integration verification
• Engage in comprehensive documentation of design processes
Requirements:
• MSc or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering
• 2+ years in embedded software development
• Strong programming skills in C/C++
• Hands-on experience with Python or TCL
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
