Lead Integrations Engineer and Manager

Job Responsibility: Campaigner is looking for a Lead Integrations Engineer and Manager to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a new team of developers to design, implement, and maintain new external components (or products) that will integrate with Campaigner, accelerating the growth of our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a proven record in managing integration projects that drive business growth through technology, and leadership experience. Your attention to detail, organization, and leadership qualities will be crucial for the success of this role. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a new small team of developers designing, developing, and maintaining external components, plugins, and/or systems that drive API integrations to Campaigner.
• Research possible integrations. Develop proof of concepts. Bring implementations to a production-level state. Maintain the components and drive any liaison with external 3rd party companies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and business teams, to define integration requirements, assist in the development of strategies, and prioritize initiatives that will drive business growth.
• Collaborate with and manage local and offshore developers.

What we need from you

• A proven experience as a programmer using multiple programming languages. C# programming language in the .NET ecosystems is required. React, PHP, java, javascript, or others are welcome.
• Ability to create quick proof of concepts (POCs) and take pride in driving those POCs to a production level.
• Experience leading software development or integration teams
• Solid knowledge of source control, CI/CD pipelines, unit and automation testing development.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API development.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and security compliance between environments, servers, and other services.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders from different locations around the world.
• A forward-thinking attitude to solve problems. No egos, a team player.
• BSc in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant discipline.

• You have a proven experience in leading software development projects specifically dealing with multiple system integrations.
• You have added plug-ins or integration modules to major app stores.
• You have a good understanding of the AWS ecosystem.
• Your sense of organization and planning towards company goals drives your day-to-day work.
• You have driven product roadmaps and/or involved in project management with multiple stake holders.

In-person or remote? You decide how you want to work, remotely or in the office. If you decide to work remotely, we still would like to see you at our Ottawa office 2 to 3 days a month for team gatherings.
