Director of Finance for Non-Profit Organization

Lead financial operations at a transformative not-for-profit as their Director of Finance in Kitchener-Waterloo. This pivotal role seeks an experienced finance leader to guide strategic financial planning.
Our client is looking for a Director of Finance who thrives as a business partner, collaborating with the CEO and leadership team. You will oversee essential financial functions and play a significant role in the organization’s growth and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
• Direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Support capital campaigns with financial planning
• Maintain accounts with effective bookkeeping and records
• Ensure statutory compliance is upheld
• Implement technology improvements for financial processes
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant financial experience
• CPA preferred, with non-profit focus advantageous
• Full-scope finance management experience
• Strong collaboration skills with leadership teams
• Possess a growth-oriented mindset and collaborative approach
