At Pack-Smart Inc., we are seeking a seasoned engineer to lead the development of custom high-speed automation systems. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will use AutoCAD and 3D CAD to model components and enhance existing systems. This collaborative role involves mentoring junior engineers and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive project efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
• Create and model mechanical components using AutoCAD and 3D CAD
• Optimize and evaluate performance of automation systems
• Collaborate on design reviews and project planning
• Mentor junior staff and share engineering best practices
• Coordinate across engineering, procurement, and manufacturing Requirements:
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience in automation
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D CAD, such as SolidWorks
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and automation processes
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Utilize your design expertise at Pack-Smart to innovate in high-speed automation systems.
