Shape the future of nuclear engineering with AtkinsRéalis as a Senior Mechanical/Piping Designer. Focus on project designs, HVAC systems, and plant operations while delivering high-quality projects. AtkinsRéalis is a prominent private sector nuclear engineering firm with over 60 years of expertise. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Designer for our projects, including new constructions and refurbishments across Ontario. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in mechanical design and a robust understanding of relevant software, including Smart Plant 3D and AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform site take-offs before project design
• Develop technical specifications for HVAC and plumbing
• Prepare detailed drawings and construction documents
• Conduct inspections to review construction progress
• Collaborate with electrical and architectural teams Requirements:
• 10+ years in mechanical design and drafting
• Proficiency in Smart Plant 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
• Knowledge of ASME Code is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
