Senior Mechanical Engineer in Healthcare

Become a key player in STERIS' Healthcare Reprocessing team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Collaborate across disciplines to innovate and solve design challenges from concept to production. In this senior engineering role, you will utilize your expertise in thermodynamics, dynamics, and material science to develop effective solutions. With at least 5 years of experience, you will design, prototype, and verify new products and components. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with medical device standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform engineering analyses to resolve technical issues
• Design and develop mechanical solutions for projects
• Manage engineering tasks and timelines effectively
• Utilize CAD software for design layouts and sketches
• Collaborate with multiple departments like Marketing and Manufacturing Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years related engineering experience
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably Creo
• Experience in regulated industries, especially medical
• Strong background in materials and manufacturing methods Leverage your mechanical design skills and innovation to shape the future of healthcare technology at STERIS.
