As a Senior Mechanical Engineer on the Energy team at WSP, you will play a crucial role in leading mechanical design efforts for power generation projects. This position is ideal for an engineer with extensive experience in renewable technologies, fossil fuels, and energy storage solutions. Your technical skills will help drive the delivery of creative engineering designs while mentoring less experienced colleagues.
Key Responsibilities Direct the design of mechanical systems for power projects
Utilize engineering techniques and industry standards
Conduct high‑complexity designs and analyses
Prepare comprehensive P&IDs; for system components
Develop construction scopes for mechanical installations
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
15+ years in EPCM setting, power-focused
Licensed qualified engineer (P.Eng)
Consulting experience preferred
Proficiency in Smart Plant3D or CADworx
