Cultural Program Clerk

Report directly to the Cultural Program Manager, the Cultural Program Clerk provides clerical, administrative, and reception support to cultural programming and community initiatives while supporting culturally grounded services for member First Nations.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:Provide clerical support for cultural programs.
Assist with coordination of cultural events and ceremonies.
Create promotional materials.
Maintain program records and reports.
Order supplies.
Support Elders and Facilitators.
Welcome clients and provide information.
Knowledge of First Nations Culture & Language would be an asset.
Maintain a culturally safe environment.
Work collaboratively with the Cultural Program Manager. QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of BRT6HC Services.
Diploma in administration or related field.
2 years experience working with the public.
Knowledge of First Nations culture.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experienced in working with First Nations people and groups.
Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
Successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
