Expected Start Date: July 27, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Battlefords Union Hospital City/Town: North Battleford Department: RAAM - Rapid Access Addictions Medicine Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Field Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: Yes Job : Provides intensive case management to individuals with chronic and persistent mental illness. These services are provided within an individual and/or group context. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience- Experience working with Indigenous culture/traditions/health
- Min. 2 yrs clinical exp. in opioid & alcohol withdrawal assessment
- Min. 2 yrs exp. in harm reduction strategies & conducting physical assessments
Education
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Phlebotomy course
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge in various mental health and addiction and harm reduction strategies
- Trained in current ASIST suicide risk assessment model
