Hiring salary range: $2,136.59 - $3,301.53 / bi-weekly

Job Duties: 

•  Extract, transform and analyze Distributed Energy Resource Management System datasets in Microsoft Excel
• Research and analyze industry and customer trends to design effective customer engagement strategies
• Analyze and improve customer-facing materials and interaction records to identify and address customer pain points
• Communicate insights in PowerPoint or other formats with clear visualizations to convey complex concepts
• Write reports and prepare presentations for internal briefings and external knowledge sharing
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with technical teams and vendors, e.g. preparing meeting materials and actioning next steps
• May perform additional duties upon request

Selection Criteria: 

• Currently enrolled in a university undergraduate program 3rd year or in a university master’s program in Business, Economics, Earth and Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, Public Policy, Computer Science or Math (preferred). Other university programs will be considered.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with strong research and problem-solving ability
• Experience in/knowledge of the Electricity Industry (Utilities, Renewables, Conservation, Demand Response, etc.) is preferred
• Familiarity with user-centered design thinking
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
• English fluency and comfort with report writing

Hydro One requires that all students applying for student opportunities be enrolled in post-secondary level studies and be returning to full-time studies upon the completion of their work term. Exceptions will be made in cases where students require a work term in order to graduate.
