Senior Manager Of Programming (Volunteer)

Job Responsibility:

EmpowHERto, a transformative non-profit organization supporting minority girls aged 14-21, is looking for an innovative and results-driven Senior Programming Department Manager . This role will oversee the successful execution of programming in Toronto, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and contributing to the empowerment of young women.

Responsibilities

Program Management

• Implement and oversee EmpowHERto's signature programs in Toronto, ensuring consistency with organizational values and strategies.
• Monitor program progress, measure outcomes, and provide regular performance updates to the Executive Director.
• Address challenges and make data-driven adjustments to enhance program quality and participant engagement.

Team Leadership

• Supervise Toronto program staff and volunteers, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between the Fort Lauderdale and Toronto teams.

Community Engagement

• Cultivate partnerships with local organizations, schools, and businesses to strengthen program impact and expand reach.
• Represent EmpowHERto at community events to promote awareness and participation in Fort Lauderdale programs.

Administrative Oversight

• Manage program budgets and resources for Toronto initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date program documentation, including protocols, policies, and participant records.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, local regulations, and funding requirements.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in program management, preferably within youth-serving organizations.
• Proven success working with diverse and underrepresented communities.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience supervising teams and volunteers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital collaboration tools.
• Valid background check.
