Advanced Accounting Group is a local accounting firm serving the Windsor-Essex and surrounding areas.
We are looking to hire a highly motivated Staff Bookkeeper wanting to grow with our firm. You will be working in a fun office environment that promotes a culture for learning and development. Due to the growth of our firm, future promotions and career advancement will be available.
Responsibilities for Staff Bookkeeper
- Bookkeeping
- Personal Income Tax Preparation
- Corporate Tax Preparation
- HST Preparation
- Payroll
- Financial statement preparation
- Financial statement analysis
- WSIB reporting
- Business registration
- Working with clients to resolve issues and complete tasks
- Answering phones
Qualifications for Staff Bookkeeper
- Accounting Degree/Diploma mandatory
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Keen to attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work well with others
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online recommended
- Familiarity with Wagepoint recommended
- Other accounting and tax related tasks as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Experience:
- Bookkeeping: 2 years (required)
- Personal Tax: 2 years (required)
- Corporate Tax: 2 years (required)
Work Location: In person
