As a Partner Account Manager at Prophix, you'll play a key role in growing our North American Strategic Alliances & Partnerships team by recruiting, enabling, and managing a portfolio of Referral, Reseller, and ISV partners across an assigned territory. You'll work closely with external partners and collaborate internally with teams across Marketing, Direct Sales, Professional Services, and more to drive partner-led pipeline and revenue growth. This is a role for someone who thrives on building relationships, developing new business, and taking ownership of results in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

What You Will Do

Territory and Partner Pipeline Development

• Build and execute a territory sales plan that drives partner-sourced pipeline growth and meets quarterly and annual revenue targets
• Recruit new Referral, Reseller, and ISV partners within your assigned territory, qualifying fit and prioritizing based on growth potential and alignment with Prophix's North American channel strategy
• Create individual partner plans that set clear expectations, milestones, and joint activities for each partner relationship

Partner Onboarding and Enablement

• Onboard new partners by coordinating access to Prophix Academy resources, product training, and internal support teams so partners can represent and sell the platform effectively
• Develop and deepen relationships within partner accounts over time, supporting partners through their sales cycles from first engagement through to close
• Coordinate with Prophix Academy, Finance, Direct Sales, and Customer Support to ensure partners have the tools and backing they need at each stage

Joint Marketing and Field Presence

• Collaborate with the Prophix Field Marketing team to co-develop and execute partner campaigns, lead generation events, and sales education programs
• Represent Prophix at conferences, tradeshows, and partner events, strengthening channel presence and reinforcing the brand with partner audiences and their clients

Pipeline Reporting and Performance Accountability

• Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline data, and activity records within Prophix systems
• Serve as the primary point of contact for your partner portfolio, clearly communicating Prophix's value proposition to partner stakeholders, their clients, and prospects across all levels of an organization
• Hold yourself accountable to performance commitments and provide regular visibility to your manager on territory progress against targets

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in partner management, channel sales, or account management within a technology or advisory company, with a track record of building and growing partner or client relationships across complex, multi-stakeholder organizations
• Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets and executing territory or account development plans
• Experience managing solution-oriented sales or implementation engagements in collaboration with external partners or stakeholders
• Ability to navigate multi-level organizational structures and earn buy-in from both technical and operational audiences
• Ability to travel within Canada and the United States, and internationally as needed; valid passport required. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting, financial planning, or FP&A concepts gained through work experience or formal study
• Collaborative mindset when working across teams and with AI supported tooling.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or a comparable CRM for pipeline tracking and activity management
• Experience with consultative or solution-based selling in a SaaS or software environment
• Comfort representing a technical platform to finance or accounting audiences, including CFOs or Controllers
• Comfortable using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, and data review

Compensation

The total compensation range for this role is $110,000 CAD to $140,000 CAD, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws in Canada and the United States. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
