I am looking for a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide part-time home care for my 85-year-old father, who has recently been discharged from hospital after a five-week stay. This is a live-out position and would suit someone with senior care experience, especially in dialysis and diabetes support. The role is mainly needed on dialysis days, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with care required in the middle of the day on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. His transportation to and from the hospital is already arranged. We need someone to be at the house when he returns home, assist him with walking and getting up the stairs safely, and help him settle in comfortably. Duties will include warming up meals, checking his glucose levels before eating, and giving insulin if needed based on the readings. Additional support may include bathing assistance, dressing and grooming help, range of motion exercises, and general mobility assistance. Light housekeeping is also appreciated, such as washing dishes, cleaning the small kitchen, giving the bathroom a quick clean, and light vacuuming. We are looking for someone patient, attentive, and confident working with an elderly male who is adjusting to being back home. Experience with dialysis, diabetes, and stroke recovery would be highly valued. A driver’s licence is not required, and no automobile use is needed. Preferred start date is 31.08.2026. This is a part-time home care for an elderly male position with less than 20 hours per week. (Part-Time, Live-Out) For day (on weekend, nurse-attendant)
