Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools is located on the original lands of the Cree, those of Treaty 6, and on the homeland of the Métis nation. We are currently seeking strong candidates to fill future principal positions throughout our division. These positions may include elementary schools with students in grades K-6 as well as secondary school placements. Greater St. Albert Catholic schools serves the communities of St. Albert, Morinville and Legal. Qualifications And Duties

• Committed to being a model and witness to Christ-centered education values and beliefs.
• Apply foundational knowledge about First Nations, Métis and Inuit for the benefit of all students, and support the Division's goals towards advancing Truth and Reconciliation.
• Successful teaching and administrative background.
• A Master’s Degree in Education is preferred.
• Ability to communicate in both French and English is an asset.
• A minimum 2 years experience as a school administrator is preferred.
• Creative leadership style is desired.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Committed to a collaborative, solution oriented approach.
• Proven commitment to academic excellence.
• Knowledge of Career and Technology Studies programming.
• A clear understanding of effective team building and collaborative practice.
• A comprehensive knowledge of goal setting practices and process.
• A clear appreciation of the role of the School Parent Council.
