Technical Sales Specialist at CAE

Drive sales success with CAE as a Technical Sales Specialist, focusing on the Canadian Defence & Security sector. Leverage your technical expertise and relationship-building skills to enhance client experiences. In this role, you will collaborate with project teams and Business Development to identify upselling strategies and lead sales opportunities. You will create technical solutions, and proposals, and engage with clients to understand their unique requirements. With a focus on structured sales methodologies, you’ll ensure alignment between customer needs and available technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales landscape within Defence & Security sector
- Lead and close collaborative sales opportunities
- Develop Statements of Work and technical proposals
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Apply structured sales methods to achieve objectives
- 5–8 years experience in technical sales or related field
- University degree in Engineering or related field
- Proficient in CRM systems like Salesforce
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to travel within Canada up to 50%
