Heavy Equipment Mechanic Apex Hydraulics Inc. Location Etobicoke, ON Salary 35.00 to 38.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 37.5 hours per week Full time Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Health benefits Languages English Education No degree, certificate or diploma Experience 1 year to less than 2 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Outdoors Dusty Noisy Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required Order parts and maintain inventory Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts Keep maintenance reports and documentation Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work Service attachments and working tools Verify and repair emission control systems Perform other routine maintenance Experience and specialization Powered equipment repair specialization Hydraulic-operated working attachments Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization Hydraulic transmissions Additional information Transportation/travel information Own transportation Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Attention to detail Bending, crouching, kneeling Hand-eye co-ordination Handling heavy loads Manual dexterity Sound discrimination Standing for extended periods Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability Accurate Dependability Flexibility Judgement Reliability Team player Organized Benefits Health benefits Health care plan Until: 2026-07-26
