About the Position
Dimpflmeier Bakery Limited is seeking an experienced Industrial Instrument Mechanic to join our team at our Etobicoke facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing and calibrating industrial instruments and related systems to support safe and reliable facility operations.
Responsibilities
Inspect the operation of industrial instruments and systems
Troubleshoot equipment, instruments and system components using a logical and systematic approach
Repair and adjust system components
Remove and replace defective parts
Calibrate components and instruments
Determine appropriate testing and maintenance procedures
Install new measuring instruments
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
Complete testing, maintenance and service reports
Coach and instruct apprentices as required
Qualifications
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
3 to less than 5 years of relevant experience
Practical knowledge of industrial instrumentation, troubleshooting, repair and calibration
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Flexibility and effective interpersonal skills
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
Strong attention to detail
Good hand-eye coordination
Ability to bend, crouch and kneel as required to inspect, repair and maintain equipment
Work must be performed on-site at the Etobicoke facility; remote work is not available
