Job Summary
Lead and coordinate daily operations in a food and beverage processing environment to ensure efficient production, quality, and safety. Supervise production staff, monitor compliance with food safety standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Main Duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers to meet daily output targets and quality standards.
- Monitor and enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Schedule workforce, assign tasks, and manage attendance and shift coverage.
- Train, coach, and evaluate production staff, providing feedback and addressing performance issues.
- Inspect equipment and production processes, report maintenance needs, and liaise with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Maintain production records, prepare performance reports, and communicate operational status to management.
Requirements
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in food technology, production, or a related field considered an asset.
- Minimum two years of experience in food or beverage processing, including supervisory or lead-hand responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of food safety systems and sanitation practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Availability to work shifts and overtime as required, and ability to perform physical duties such as standing for extended periods and occasional lifting.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and production tracking or inventory systems, and ability to maintain accurate records.
