Job Summary
Supervise daily operations of food service areas to ensure efficient, high-quality customer service. Coordinate staff and maintain standards for service, safety, and presentation.

Main Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front- and back-of-house staff during shifts to ensure timely and consistent service.
- Prepare and adjust staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor employee performance.
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace health standards through regular inspections and corrective actions.
- Monitor food quality and presentation; handle customer feedback and resolve service issues promptly.
- Manage inventory, receive deliveries, track stock levels, and control waste to support cost management.
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members; support onboarding and professional development efforts.
Requirements
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in hospitality or culinary arts is an asset.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in food service with supervisory or lead responsibilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace health regulations.
- Ability to read and complete operational records, including temperature logs and incident reports.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, perform manual tasks, and lift moderate loads as required.
