Job Description
- Oversee all construction projects from inception to completion
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards
- Manage team members and ensure their professional growth
- Lead project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders
- Drive operational excellence and efficiency
The Successful Applicant
A successful Director of Construction should have:
- **Commercial, Retail, Bank and Office Fit Out project experience**
- A solid understanding of the construction industry and business services
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of construction, design, finance, and management
