We’re growing and looking for an experienced Commercial & Industrial Construction Estimator to join our team.


This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives on solving complex construction challenges, building accurate estimates, and helping win profitable work across a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial design-build projects.


Our work spans general construction, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, commercial kitchens, foodservice installations, and specialty trades—making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, collaboration, and strategic problem-solving.


You’ll work closely with Project Managers, vendors, subcontractors, and leadership to turn project concepts, drawings, and specifications into competitive, well-structured bids that drive successful projects.



What You’ll Do:

• Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and conceptual designs to define project scope.
• Perform quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimating for commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Develop comprehensive estimates including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, overhead, contingencies, and risk considerations.
• Solicit, analyze, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Prepare bid submissions, proposals, scopes of work, clarifications, and cost breakdowns.
• Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and project walkthroughs as needed.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and leadership on bid strategy, pricing approach, and execution planning.
• Maintain organized estimate files, vendor relationships, pricing databases, and historical cost records.
• Identify opportunities to improve estimating accuracy, efficiency, and internal processes.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a construction professional with practical estimating experience, sound judgment, and the ability to confidently contribute to the estimating process for complex projects.



Ideal candidates will bring:

• Experience in construction estimating, project coordination, mechanical construction, preconstruction, or related commercial/industrial construction environments.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, sequencing, and project costing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and bid packages.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and estimating/takeoff software. 

Bonus Experience:
Experience in any of the following is highly valued:

• Commercial or industrial design-build construction.
• General contracting.
• Mechanical estimating.
• HVAC / plumbing systems.
• Commercial kitchens / foodservice construction.
• Specialty trades.
• Vendor and subcontractor relationship management.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license.

• Post-secondary education, trade certification, construction background, or equivalent practical experience.
