Salary range (but not limited to): 94,200 - 115,200

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance): 12%

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to the role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35‑hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

Intact Investment Management Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Intact Financial Corporation (IFC) and a registered portfolio manager in Canada. We are a global investment firm specializing in active equity and fixed‑income portfolio management, managing over $30B in assets for our parent company, Intact, and other institutional investors (including pension plans). You’ll be working with a multidisciplinary team of 80+ professionals recognized for its dynamism, collaboration, and strong team spirit—working in a stimulating environment with a real impact on investment results.

What you’ll do here

Process Improvement and Automation

• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve existing processes.
• Assess and implement automation solutions using various tools (such as Power Automate) to increase efficiency.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert in automation for various initiatives with other teams.

Request Management and User Interface

• Clarify stakeholders’ needs and requirements for change requests.
• Document functional and technical requirements to support developers’ work.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for users, understand their day‑to‑day challenges, and propose appropriate solutions.

Data Analysis and Team Collaboration

• Create dynamic reports to facilitate access to and understanding of data.
• Work closely with developers and the technical advisor to ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with departmental objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant investment experience (an asset).
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with Power Automate and Power BI.
• Knowledge of AI tools such as Builder AI, Copilot, or others (an asset).
• Initiative and integrity.
• Team spirit, sound judgment, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical reasoning abilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Bilingualism (French and English) – need to interact regularly with colleagues from across the country.
• No Canadian work experience required; must be eligible to work in Canada.
