Program Manager for YMCA Health & Fitness
YMCA of Okanagan
Lead YMCA's program innovation as a Senior Manager in Southern Interior BC. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing participant experience through strategic oversight and collaborative leadership. You will play a crucial role in program strategy and operational execution, ensuring consistency and quality across health promotions, fitness, and child programs. Your leadership will guide a dedicated team while fostering internal and external partnerships that influence community outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an integrated strategy for programs
- Align with community needs and strategic priorities
- Supervise performance and accountability of program managers
- Plan program scheduling and resource allocation across sites
- Innovate and evaluate programs for continuous improvement
- Degree in Recreation, Kinesiology, or relevant field
- 5 to 7+ years in leadership with team management
- Ability to influence and lead through complex situations
- Strong relationship-building capability
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
