Job Description
New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Part-Time Customer Service Clerk at our Food Store in Grande Cache, Alberta.

What you’ll do:
- Provide an excellent customer experience in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
- Assist customers at the front end by bagging, wrapping, and packaging merchandise carefully to support checkout operations.
- Perform carry-out services for customers upon request and as directed by front-end staff.
- Maintain checkout readiness by restocking supplies required to support cashiers and front-end operations.
- Ensure the checkout area, sales floor, and back-stock areas remain clean, organized, and free of clutter or debris to promote a safe and welcoming shopping environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Who you are and what you have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to customer service
- Enthusiastic approach to work
- Experience in customer service is preferred.
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Some heavy lifting may be required, up to 50lbs
- Availability to work on a very flexible schedule (morning and evening shifts on weekdays and weekends)
