How You’ll Make An Impact

Take ownership of the operational health, security, and ongoing improvement of FCC’s SAP platform. This is a hands‑on Basis role focused on managing and supporting SAP landscapes while enabling the team to deliver with confidence in a mature enterprise environment.

You’ll be responsible for managing the system lifecycle, overseeing transport governance, administering SAP security and maintaining platform stability. As FCC continues to modernize its SAP delivery practices—including adopting SAP Cloud ALM and integrated SDLC pipelines—you’ll help enable and operationalize these capabilities from a Basis perspective.

You’ll work within an agile team, collaborating closely with SAP developers, platform teams, security and architecture partners. Over time, you’ll also contribute to cross‑cutting platform concerns such as centralized logging, API management, and observability—areas where your strong Basis foundations can support broader platform needs.

What You’ll Do

• Act as the lead SAP Basis administrator, providing technical leadership on system operations, platform stability, and lifecycle management
• Own SAP security administration, including role and authorization management, user provisioning, audit support, and integration with Microsoft Entra ID and SAP Cloud Identity Services (CIS)
• Manage and govern SAP transport workflows across production and non‑production landscapes
• Administer and advance SAP Cloud ALM as FCC’s central lifecycle and operations platform, including pipeline automation and monitoring
• Support SAP BTP platform administration, including sub‑account governance, service entitlements, security configuration, and transport management
• Support deployment and operational readiness for SAP CAP‑based applications and services
• Integrate SAP delivery into SDLC standards, contributing to pipeline design, traceability, and governance
• Continuously improve automation, scripting, and operational tooling to reduce manual effort and deployment risk across SAP environments
• Extend into cross‑cutting platform concerns such as centralized logging, API management, and observability where SAP Basis expertise provides a strong foundation

Required Qualifications

What you’ll bring to the team

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in SAP Basis administration across enterprise SAP landscapes
• Strong knowledge of SAP security administration, including role and authorization management, user provisioning, segregation of duties concepts, and audit/compliance support
• Deep understanding of SAP transport management, system lifecycle governance, and change control
• Experience administering SAP S/4HANA in cloud‑hosted or managed environments
• Working knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including sub‑account administration, service configuration, security, and transport context
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM for lifecycle management, monitoring, and operations
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and SAP Cloud Identity Services (CIS) in the context of SSO, authentication, and authorization
• Working knowledge in SAP system refresh procedures and upgrade cadences
• SAP Fiori Administration experience
• Experience with SAP & HANA performance monitoring and tuning

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM pipeline configuration, feature and change management, and test automation
• Experience with enterprise SDLC’s and building CI/CD pipelines with SAP and non‑SAP tooling
• Exposure to SAP CAP application deployment and operational support
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code concepts and automation‑first operational practices
• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) to support operational tasks and platform improvement
• SAP Certifications
• Experience in Redwood BPA batch job management
