Maintenance Technician

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Maintenance Technician performs repairs and preventive maintenance on hotel facilities, ensuring a functional, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform general plumbing tasks (sink, toilet, bathtub, and shower repairs).

• Maintain hotel installations, furniture, and equipment.

• Repair and maintain heating and ventilation systems.

• Contribute to renovation projects and upgrades.

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks in guest rooms and public areas.

• Apply skills in carpentry, painting, plastering, plumbing, heating, laundry machines, ventilation, electricity, and thermal systems.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in hospitality.

• Excellent physical condition (able to lift 50-75 lbs).

• Functional bilingual French/English to communicate with international guests.

• Ability to manage priorities in a high-volume environment.

• Availability for varied shifts: days, evenings, and weekends.

• Customer service skills and experience.
