Remote Social Worker for Northern Communities

Join Bayshore HealthCare as a Social Worker focusing on remote Northern Communities. This position emphasizes in-office Quality Assurance while offering a chance for impactful front-line work when necessary. Bayshore HealthCare seeks Social Workers with experience in Child Protective Services for a 6-8 week assignment in Nunavut. In addition to conducting audits and managing case files, candidates will utilize organizational software for case management. If needed, you may engage in direct client support, providing crisis intervention and working with high-risk cases. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-office Quality Assurance for open cases
- Complete administrative work and audits attentively
- Utilize case management programs like Matrix
- Engage in crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with community services and institutions
- Minimum two years of Social Worker experience
- Bachelor’s degree in social work required
- Valid registration with provincial body
- Experience in child protective services and trauma
- BLS certification within the first year
