Job Responsibility:
Astro Design Centre is seeking a Junior Purchasing Clerk to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and ready to grow in a supportive and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders
- Match purchase orders with invoices and verify pricing
- Assist with inventory tracking and restocking
- Support basic accounts payable functions
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams
- Quickly learn and adapt to new software tools
Qualifications:
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Fluent in verbal and written English (French is considered an asset)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities
- Previous experience in purchasing, invoicing, or inventory management is preferred
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
