Junior SAP FICO Administrator

Job Responsibility:
Tomlinson Group of Companies is seeking a Junior SAP FICO Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to the business and assisting with project-related work. This role will report to and be mentored by experienced FICO resources.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support for SAP FICO module (Financial Accounting and Controlling).
- Assist with the implementation of new projects and upgrades to existing systems.
- Maintain FICO master data to ensure consistency in reporting.
- Prepare documentation including business processes, procedures, and configuration and user guides.
- Create and execute test scripts to test system functionalities as well as security.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Perform regular system maintenance and updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Provide training and support to end users.
- Assist with application development and configuration.
- Assist with the development of reports and dashboards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or related field (in-process acceptable).
- 1-2 years of experience in SAP FICO module.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes.
- Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of other SAP modules (MM, SD, PM, ETM, PS) is a plus.
