Health and Safety Program Lead Role

Join a leading automotive manufacturer as a Health and Safety Program Lead. This full-time role focuses on implementing safety policies and compliance measures effectively. This permanent position seeks a highly motivated health and safety professional with 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing. You will champion health and safety protocols, oversee inspections and audits, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Your expertise in ergonomics, problem-solving, and effective communication will be essential for this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain health and safety policies
- Champion inspections, audits, and resulting action plans
- Manage WSIB claims and submit necessary forms
- Analyze industrial accident causes and health hazards
- Conduct workplace inspections to recommend corrective measures
- Undergraduate degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum 4-5 years of health and safety experience
- Knowledge of Ontario health and safety regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- CRSP certification is an asset, working towards accepted
