Are you an experienced Health & Safety Coordinator with ICI projects experience? A leading interiors ICI general contractor in Toronto, specializing in large-scale projects within the health sector, is looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to join their growing team. They deliver complex, large-scale interiors projects that shape the future of healthcare facilities and are known for excellence and a commitment to safety.
As the Health and Safety Coordinator, you will manage health and safety protocols for large-scale construction projects, particularly within the healthcare sector. You will play a key role in ensuring that all safety regulations are adhered to and that projects are completed in a safe and compliant manner.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety programs on-site, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
- Lead safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety among all project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and workers to ensure safety procedures are followed and projects run smoothly and safely.
Qualifications
- Experienced Health & Safety Coordinator with ICI project experience.
- Experience in or with healthcare sector projects is indicated by the role description.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices; ability to stay updated on industry trends.
