Site Reliability Engineer with Customer Focus

Become a Site Reliability Engineer at Guidewire, where technology and customer collaboration intersect. You'll leverage your Python and automation skills to enhance our cloud infrastructure. Guidewire is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer dedicated to ensuring the smooth functioning of our cloud-based services. Your expertise in systems optimization and automation will be crucial. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with customers to assess their needs
- Optimize operational metrics with advanced data analysis
- Lead automation initiatives for maintenance and efficiency
- Engage in cross-functional teamwork for product features
- Create training materials to empower other engineers
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field
- Hands-on experience with Python, Bash, and AWS
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes platforms
- Excellent communication skills and customer interaction
- Ability to adapt to new technologies with some travel required
