Become a pivotal figure at AgeCare as General Counsel and Vice President, Legal & Corporate Services in Calgary. Provide comprehensive legal oversight and governance across the organization. This strategic executive role works closely with the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team. You will be responsible for protecting AgeCare's legal interests while leading corporate governance and regulatory compliance initiatives. Your extensive legal experience will enable effective risk management within our operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal advice to CEO and board members
- Lead governance processes and corporate compliance
- Administer procurement and manage contracts effectively
- Develop policies aligned with legal requirements
- Guide strategic corporate transactions and initiatives
- Master’s degree in Law or a related field
- Active membership in a provincial law society
- At least 10 years of relevant legal experience
- Proven track record in organizational governance
- Superior communication and stakeholder management skills
