Legal Advisor Associate Position at Worley

Become a key player at Worley as an Associate General Counsel based in Houston, Texas. This full-time role focuses on guiding legal strategies and developing a robust legal team. As a vital member of the CanadaLegal team, you will manage legal tasks, mentor junior lawyers, and have significant interactions with senior business partners. Your role involves advising on complex contractual issues while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives through teamwork. Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements
- Mentor junior lawyers and provide performance feedback
- Offer training to legal and business teams
- Advise on disputes and complex project negotiations
- Collaborate to support evolving business goals
- Requires at least 7 years of relevant experience
- Preferred experience in a matrixed global organization
- Familiar with negotiating EPC and EPCM contracts
- Proficient in legal technology tools and AI
- Law degree and an active license to practice
