Senior Account Manager: Special Loans Role

Step into a transformative role at Equitable Bank as a Senior Account Manager, focusing on Special Loans and Restructuring. Manage problem commercial loans and apply innovative strategies to foster better banking solutions. This position requires overseeing default files and ensuring compliance with the bank's policies. You will directly support the Associate Director by performing diverse portfolio management duties, including conducting financial reviews, preparing reports, and engaging with various stakeholders, such as brokers and legal counsel, to drive effective outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process delinquent commercial mortgages over $2.5 MM
- Recommend legal actions based on thorough financial analysis
- Work with teams to resolve non-performing loans
- Prepare extensive reporting for management and external regulators
- Lead initiatives to optimize operational efficiency
- 5–7 years of relevant commercial mortgage experience
- Relevant degree or CPA designation
- Knowledge of Canadian mortgage enforcement
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask under pressure
