Clerk - Nutrition and Food Services
Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre
Advance your career as an Intermediate Clerk in Food Services, focusing on patient meal management. You will play a crucial role in facilitating meal selections and ensuring patient satisfaction. In this role, you will interact with patients to gather their food preferences and efficiently enter their selections into the computer system. Strong communication skills are essential for addressing inquiries and ensuring that dietary needs are met effectively. The position also includes managing additional responsibilities as needed by supervisors. Key Responsibilities:
- Collect meal choices and food preferences from patients
- Accurately input selections into the computer
- Process changes to patient diets and print late trays
- Respond to queries via phone about food services
- Undertake additional assignments from management
- Preferred background in Food & Nutrition
- Minimum 1 year of relevant nutrition experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets an advantage
- Familiar with Word, Excel, and Outlook
