Distribution Manager

Role Overview

The Distribution Manager is responsible for leading LuminUltra’s warehouse and distribution operations in Fredericton and ensuring the efficient, accurate movement of products across a global network.

This role combines hands-on operational leadership with oversight of logistics coordination, inventory management, and third-party partners. The focus is on execution, team leadership, and the maintenance of reliable, efficient distribution processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including product assembly, order packing, and inventory movement
• Lead and support a team of front-line employees, ensuring clear direction, accountability, and performance
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) partners and freight providers
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including required documentation and timelines
• Ensure inventory accuracy through strong receiving and tracking processes
• Monitor operational performance through KPIs and reporting
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
• Support compliance requirements, including export documentation and quality standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to support order fulfillment and operational alignment

Qualifications & Experience

• Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years of experience in distribution, warehouse operations, or supply chain environments
• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising a team
• Experience working in fast-paced, hands-on operational settings
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers is considered an asset
• Familiarity with import/export documentation is considered an asset
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is considered an asset

Work Environment

Based in Fredericton, NB, this is a hands-on role with regular presence required in the warehouse and distribution environment.
