Department Manager - Freight Flow

Responsibilities

• Lead the early morning freight team by setting high standards in safety, customer service, and merchandising.
• Communicate priorities and expectations clearly to associates, ensuring they have the tools and guidance to succeed.
• Monitor and support associate performance through coaching, feedback, and identifying training needs.
• Address associate and customer concerns professionally and constructively.
• Participate in inventory management, marketing execution, and team meetings.
• Perform general sales associate duties as required.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a retail setting is an asset.
• Strong ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with a passion for motivating and developing others.
• Demonstrated commitment to achieving goals and continuous improvement.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Physically capable of performing manual labor.

Willingness to learn and operate machinery (21+ years of age due to Forklift requirement; in-house training to be provided).
