Veterinary SEO Strategist

Own veterinary search strategy remotely from Canada, South Africa, or the USA using technical SEO and AI search expertise.
As SEO Strategist, Veterinary, you guide search for veterinary groups and multi-clinic practices. Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency, and you serve as the strategic voice for client decisions. Your work spans technical SEO, content priorities, and ranking explanations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build technical roadmaps for crawl, indexation, speed, schema, and architecture
- Develop keyword strategies and on-page optimization priorities
- Improve visibility across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity
- Manage links, local search, and multi-location SEO
- Report through GA4 and Search Console; create quarterly roadmaps
Requirements:
- Three-plus years of hands-on SEO experience
- Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush fluency
- Agency experience managing several clients simultaneously
- Clear spoken English for live calls with United States clients
- Veterinary or similar multi-location SEO experience strongly preferred
