Urgent Care SEO Strategist

Own technical SEO and content strategy for urgent care clients from a remote position in Canada, South Africa, or the USA. Shape search visibility across organic and AI results.
Blacksmith Agency seeks an SEO Strategist focused on urgent care groups operating multiple sites. You will lead client search strategy, combining technical audits, keyword planning, on-page optimization, and local SEO. The role covers both classic organic rankings and AI search platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build technical roadmaps for crawl, indexation, speed, schema, and architecture
- Set keyword strategy, on-page optimization, and content priorities
- Improve visibility across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity
- Manage links, local search, and multi-location SEO
- Report through GA4 and Search Console; create quarterly roadmaps
Requirements:
- Three-plus years of hands-on SEO experience
- Fluency with Search Console, GA4, and Screaming Frog
- Experience using Ahrefs or Semrush
- Agency experience managing several clients simultaneously
- Clear spoken English for live calls with United States clients
