Senior Financial Controller for Broker-Dealer

Join a leading capital markets platform as a Senior Financial Controller, focusing on financial and regulatory reporting in a hands-on, collaborative environment. Engage with executive leadership while overseeing accounting, tax, and treasury functions. In this critical role, you will partner closely with senior leadership to drive financial reporting and compliance across a regulated broker-dealer entity. Your deep expertise in broker-dealer accounting and financial controls will ensure adherence to IFRS and other regulatory standards. You’ll be involved in auditing processes, tax compliance, and enhancing internal controls. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial and regulatory reporting activities
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Oversee compliance with banking and tax regulations
- Serve as liaison with regulators and auditors
- Mentor finance team members for continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA (Canada or U.S.) required
- 8+ years in financial services or audit
- Experience in broker-dealer or capital markets
- Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements
