Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist Position

The Hospital for Sick Children seeks a Full-time Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist to enhance pediatric care through advanced diagnostics. Provide compassionate service as you perform key tests. In this pivotal role, you will independently conduct advanced neurophysiological testing and collaborate with families for optimal patient care. Your responsibility includes engaging in epilepsy monitoring and using specialized diagnostic equipment to produce reports. Flexibility is required for various working hours to cater to patient needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute EEG, EMG, and NCS procedures with skill
- Manage epilepsy monitoring and troubleshooting
- Obtain patient histories and educate families effectively
- Maintain neurophysiology equipment routinely
- Engage in teaching and share knowledge with peers
- CBRET R.E.T. Certificate is a must
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to function under stress with accuracy
- Commitment to fostering diversity and patient care
