We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee the strategic execution of complex digital health and clinical software deployment initiatives. In this role, you will define and operate program governance frameworks, direct program strategy from inception through close-out, and manage cross-organizational dependencies and budgets. Partnering closely with healthcare professionals, clinical software vendors, privacy leads, and executive stakeholders, you will drive health information systems integration, mitigate operational risks, and oversee clinical change management to ensure the successful adoption of digital health platforms.

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – Up to 3 days/week onsite, subject to hiring manager's discretion)

Duration: 7-month contract.

Responsibilities
Lead and oversee complex digital health initiatives, establishing short- and long-term operating plans, program goals, and governance structures.

Direct program budgets spanning multiple funding channels, overseeing tracking, financial forecasts, and cross-organizational expense reconciliations.

Manage relationships with internal and external healthcare stakeholders, clinical software vendors, and national health technology partners.

Engage directly with legal, privacy, and security authorities to ensure digital software integrations comply with health privacy legislation (including PHIPA) and data security protocols.

Collaborate with clinicians and healthcare professionals in the field to assess clinical workflows, evaluate system adoption, and resolve implementation challenges.

Oversee risk and issue management strategies, program go-live schedules, and change management frameworks to ensure seamless project delivery.

Design and execute evaluation frameworks to measure program performance, assess health system benefits, and drive continuous quality improvement.

Develop and present executive briefings, status reports, and strategic roadmaps to C-suite and executive leadership groups.

Qualifications
Digital Health Program Seniority: 7 to 10 years of experience managing complex digital health projects, including the deployment of clinical software systems, health information platforms, EMRs, eReferral solutions, or patient portals (Strictly Required).

Clinical & EMR System Knowledge: Hands-on experience working directly with healthcare professionals in the field and extensive knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (Strictly Required).

Multi-Channel Budget Management: Proven experience developing and overseeing complex program budgets based on multiple funding channels and cross-organizational dependencies (Strictly Required).

Project Management Mastery: Deep understanding of core project management methodologies, risk mitigation, scope control, quality assurance, and clinical change management (Strictly Required).

Executive Leadership & C-Suite Communications: Exceptional leadership, team-building, and communication skills, with proven experience presenting to executive leadership groups across the health sector (Strictly Required).
